Sunday's notes

Grandpa and Grandma visited with Sophie today. Grandma held Sophie while Grandpa took lots of pictures. Sophie was asleep most of the time, but Grandpa did get a few pictures with her eyes open. She is doing good. We are waiting for the surgery. I know we keep saying that, but we hope that it happens this week. Yesterday Stephen and Sinthya took a infant CPR class. So that is another step to bringing her home. Stephen and I still need to take the class on the Gastric Tube.

Stephen's sister (Catherine) has gone to the hospital to deliver her baby. Number 7 grandaughter. Saelim will be her name. There will be a lot of girl cousins to encourage Sophie to be the best she can be. They have each been praying for her daily. At church today many of the members asked how our grandchild is doing, and told us they remember her in their prayers. Once again we thank you for all the support and encouragement.

This will be another fun week of encouraging Sophie, with her therapy, and holding her. We know that she recognizes her mom and dad's voices, because you can tell by the way she responds to both of them. Way to go mom and dad!! ..... You are GREAT parents.
