Update for the weekend!

Sophie is taking baby steps each day. She is sucking a bit more on the pacifier. Dr. Mohan, said today that there is progress, slow moving progress. I held Sophie for about an hour today. I sang to her, talked to her, and just loved her. She kept her eyes open more , so that is also progress. The nurses say Sophie likes her reflux bed. It sits her up more straight, and she can look around. Remember if we do not update daily there is still progress, just nothing new to share with you. We continue to thank you for the prayers, and the faith each of you share with us. Remember "Go Forth With Faith," we are trying to do that as a family. We thank you all. Grandma Welch



Sophie's mom has been spending more time during the day with her. Dad visits first thing in the morning and when he gets home at night. We appreciate Stephen's work, being so understanding with him and willing to work with him on his schedule. You are all so great. THANKS....
